Case: pile run offshore wind farm
A damaged windmill is repaired and thus operational in time to meet subsidy requirements.
A pile run occurs during piling works for an offshore wind farm. Both the piled foundation as well as the piling vessel are severally damaged. In order to qualify for the subsidy, there is to be no construction delay.
After assessing and mapping out the damage, Inspecto Visio writes a repair plan within one and a half weeks following the accident. After the repairs, Inspecto Visio inspects the structure again.
The client agrees with the inspection report and the repair plan, which allows the windmill to be operational in time to meet subsidy requirements. Thus the subsidy is secured.
A thorough soil inspection could have reduced the risk of an accident like this to occur.
